Who we are

The A1 Asset One group looks after property in Berlin, in Leipzig and the surrounding area. Under the roof of A1 Asset One GmbH, four companies each work in their own field: RE SMART Management GmbH manages property, RE SMART Invest GmbH handles letting and sales, A1 Immobilienentwicklung GmbH manages refurbishment and construction on behalf of the owners, and RE SMART Finance GmbH brokers financing and insurance.

We also build our own digital products, such as the Eigentümer-Ratgeber (owners’ guide) and the SMART Manage Copilot. A1 Asset One GmbH receives your enquiry and passes it on to the responsible company. If your request covers several areas, it passes it on to all responsible companies. You only need to explain it once.

Four companies under one roof

A1 Asset One GmbH is the umbrella company of the group. The services are provided by four companies, each in its own field. You sign the contract with the company that provides the service.

A1 Asset One GmbH

Umbrella company of the group, platform (A1 customer account) and publisher of the Eigentümer-Ratgeber. It receives your enquiries and passes them on to the responsible company.

Our path since 2014

Today’s companies are younger than the group. This is how it came about.

2014
Matti Biskup and André Torkler found WunderAgent GmbH in Berlin, where the group began.
From 2016
Property sales in Berlin and Leipzig are brokered under the WunderAgent brand.
2020
RE SMART Management GmbH (property management) and RE SMART Finance GmbH (financing and insurance) are established.
2023
A1 Asset One GmbH becomes the umbrella company of the group, joined by RE SMART Invest GmbH, which has carried the WunderAgent brand since then, and A1 Immobilienentwicklung GmbH. In the same year, Schiller Hausverwaltung joins the group.
Q1 2026
In Leipzig, the group takes over the management of 35 apartment buildings.
Q3 2026
Cenes Carinta GmbH joins the group.
Q4 2026
The Eigentümer-Ratgeber, the Eigentümer-Akademie and the SMART Manage Copilot are launched.

What we stand for

Six principles we work by across the group.

Specialised
Each service has its own rules. Property management, estate agency, loan brokerage and insurance brokerage each come with their own statutory licences and duties. The group has therefore placed each service with a company that specialises in it.
Transparent
You know who works for you and who you sign the contract with. The responsible company tells you what a service costs before you commission anything.
One point of contact
You explain your request once. A1 Asset One GmbH passes it on to the responsible company. If it covers several areas, it goes to all responsible companies.
Digital where it helps
We build our own tools for owners, from the Eigentümer-Ratgeber to Kompass for property management clients. They do not replace talking to a person.

We treat your documents and data confidentially. How we process data is set out in our privacy policy.
Diversity in the team
Our team brings together people of different backgrounds and training. We see this as a strength in working with owners, tenants and prospective buyers or tenants.

The team behind the group

Our team of more than 45 people includes employees and long-term freelancers. They work in property management, letting and sales, refurbishment and energy advice, financing and on our digital products. You will find open positions on our careers page.
