The tasks change over the life of a property. The companies of the group cover these stages.

A circle of four areas around your property: management by RE SMART Management GmbH, letting, sale and purchase by RE SMART Invest GmbH, management of refurbishment and construction by A1 Immobilienentwicklung GmbH, financing and insurance by RE SMART Finance GmbH.

  1. Buy

    You are looking for a property and want to assess it properly. RE SMART Invest GmbH advises you on the purchase.

  2. Finance

    For buying, building or modernising, RE SMART Finance GmbH brokers property loans and advises you on them.

  3. Manage

    RE SMART Management GmbH manages your owners’ association, your rental building or your let apartment.

  4. Let

    When an apartment is vacant, RE SMART Invest GmbH looks for new tenants. You decide who moves in.

  5. Refurbish

    When a refurbishment or a new heating system is due, A1 Immobilienentwicklung GmbH plans and manages the work on behalf of the owners.

  6. Sell

    When you want to sell, RE SMART Invest GmbH values the property and supports the sale through to completion.

RE SMART Finance GmbH arranges property-related insurance as an insurance broker (licence under section 34d(1) GewO).

What “from a single source” means for you

One point of contact

You write or call. A1 Asset One GmbH receives your enquiry and passes it on to the responsible company. If your request covers several areas, it passes it on to all responsible companies. You only need to explain it once.

One contract per service

You sign each contract with the company that provides the service. You decide for each service what you commission.

Coordinated within the group

The companies work under one roof. One example: if you buy through RE SMART Invest GmbH, you can have the financing brokered by RE SMART Finance GmbH if you wish.

Frequently asked questions about our services

Why are there different companies?

Each service has its own rules. Property management, estate agency, loan brokerage and insurance brokerage each come with their own statutory licences and duties. The group has therefore placed each service with a company that specialises in it.

Do I have to commission all services from you?

No. You only commission what you need. Each contract covers one service and one company.

Who is my point of contact?

First A1 Asset One GmbH. It receives your enquiry and passes it on to the responsible company, which then contacts you. If your request covers several areas, it passes it on to all responsible companies. You only need to explain it once.

Where do the companies work?

In Berlin, in Leipzig and the surrounding area. The group has three offices in Berlin (Kreuzberg, Charlottenburg and Tegel) and one office in Leipzig. You find the addresses under Offices.

What does the first conversation cost?

Nothing. The first conversation is free and without obligation. The responsible company tells you what a service costs before you commission anything.

What does A1 Asset One GmbH do when I send an enquiry?

It receives your enquiry and passes it on to the responsible company. It does not broker loans or insurance itself, and it does not sign a brokerage, management or agency contract with you. Letting and sales are handled by RE SMART Invest GmbH. Financing and insurance are brokered by RE SMART Finance GmbH.

What is not included?

Legal and tax advice, and advice on or brokering of investments and financial products such as funds or company shareholdings. Please take individual legal and tax questions to a lawyer or a tax adviser.
